Lindsey and Alex vowed their commitment to one another in an airy, luxurious wedding that basked them in the warm Florida sunshine as they were surrounded by their loved ones and their faith. They sealed their deep-rooted love under a handmade circular arch that dripped with orchids and then celebrated with family and friends surrounded by classic white roses and illuminated by floating candles.

“Alex and I consider ourselves a very traditional couple, and I think that that showed throughout our wedding,” the bride shared. “From choosing biblical vows to seeing each other for the first time as I walked down the aisle to him, it was the little things throughout our wedding that meant the most to us as a couple.”

St. Pete wedding planner Jessica Ralph of Parties A’ La Carte was the perfect person to bring the bride and groom’s timeless vision to life. The planner’s experience and expertise made every moment of the planning journey memorable and organized, even starting with the engagement photos in New Orleans!

“Jessica Ralph planned the best day of our lives. They were constantly on call and available. Their efforts did not go unnoticed or unappreciated by myself or Alex. From the start of our relationship, Jessica had superb organizational skills, which was something that we fellow OCD-ers relished!” Lindsey beamed. “Jessica and her team went above and beyond for us from the beginning of our engagement shoot in New Orleans. She even went as far as bringing me a dress to wear that she thought might be better suited for the look that we were aiming for. The fact that she offered to do that was so special and important and will be something I cherish forever.”

With the bride and groom deeply connected to their faith, selecting the perfect church to tie the knot was a priority. The romantic ceremony featured rich white pews, classic chandeliers, and large windows that allowed all of Florida’s natural light to sweep across the beautiful hardwood. The bride and her bridesmaids were pampered in the Bridal Suite, where the girls wore silk pajamas before changing into their off-the-shoulder, classic black dresses. Lindsey’s strapless, timeless wedding gown showed off a diamond necklace that gleamed on her neck. The bride’s veil added to the romantic flair of white adorned with diamonds while all the men wore black tuxedos.

The ballroom reception at the Sandpearl Resort in Clearwater was decorated in timeless black and white with pops of gold, and classic white roses lined long tables.

“We decided to go black and white with hints of gold because it was simplistic yet bold. We didn’t want to look back on our wedding day with regret,” the bride explained. “We have seen so many couples look back and regret their choice in color scheme, so we wanted to make sure we kept it simple in that arena. And then given that we spend half of our time living in New Orleans with Alex playing for the Saints, we made sure to incorporate The Big Easy uniquely with a second line leaving the reception. The band made a line and played us out of the party to the elevator, where we waved goodbye to our guests for the night, which was fun!”

While the magic of the day was highlighted by the photographs, the connections made between the Parties A La Carte team and Lindsey and Alex blossomed beyond their wedding date.

“Jessica was not only a great businesswoman throughout the process, but she became a great friend as well,” the bride shared. “I could always rely on her to make the best decision because I knew that she cared just as much as us, heck, maybe even more! Everyone can tell how passionate she is about what she does, which makes her and Parties A’ La Carte the best. I can speak for my whole family when I say that we love her!”
