St. Pete Florida Destination Wedding | Danielle and Nikolas

Being from New York, Danielle and Nikolas really wanted to select a tropical destination to celebrate their love for one another in front of friends and family. After searching for the perfect place to host their multi-day celebration, they decided on the Don Cesar as the perfect venue for their St. Pete Florida destination wedding!

On their wedding day, Danielle spent the morning with her best girls getting ready to dress in white. One of our favorite accessories that this bride had was her veil. Butterflies were sown in, signifying each of her grandmothers who could not be there. This was so special as she had a memory of each to escort her down the aisle.

When it was time to say “I do,” all of the guests met in the stunning courtyard. The white carpet aisle featuring ghost chairs gave the space a modern and clean look. The first rows included cursive names to state the reserved seat for the family members. Palm trees framed the setting, and a beautiful floral arch outlined the couple as they exchanged vows.

Once the ceremony concluded, guests moved to cocktail hour in the Grand Ballroom Foyer. A solo guitarist provided entertainment as guests enjoyed hors d’oeuvres and drinks during cocktail hour. A larger-than-life escort chart, with an abundance of florals, directed guests to their seats in the Ballroom.

St. Pete Florida Destination Wedding Reception

The Grand Ballroom included a mix of feasting tables and rounds, which provided a beautiful dimension to the layered room. Mixed textures and elegant details were utilized throughout the space. Each place setting included a die-cut menu, with the couple’s delicate, custom-designed laurel wreath. Crystal glassware was placed adjacent to each charger, and gold accents gave the design a higher sense of luxury. Bountiful floral centerpieces and taupe taper candles added a romantic fairytale feeling to each tablescape. Three substantial floral arches were the backdrop for the Jazz Trio that performed during dinner service. The newlyweds sat on the other side of the space at their sweetheart table. Above them hung their laurel wreath framing their duogram, including another cohesive element to the design.

Once dinner concluded, the couple shared a toast with their family and friends that traveled near and far to be present for their St. Pete, Florida, Destination Wedding. They announced for all to follow the saxophone upstairs as they had a surprise in the King Charles Ballroom. As guests entered the space, they were wowed by asymmetrical drapery from the ceilings to the floor, adding a whimsical look. Centered was the custom dance floor stating “This is Forever” and a velvet-wrapped stage. The Party Crashers Band played their first set, inviting guests into the dancing portion of the evening!

The bride and groom had their grand entrance and first dance when all was settled from the surprise. Their first dance was accompanied by cold sparklers adding another surprise element to all in attendance! Guests danced the night away and celebrated the surrounding love. It was indeed a beautiful night to remember!
