Hi there! Welcome to Parties A La Carte. We're so excited you're here! We are a premiere wedding and event planning team based in Tampa, Florida. We love helping our clients create statement events without any stress.
Morgan and Michael’s Clearwater wedding blended tradition and modern romance as they started their day with a classic Episcopalian Church ceremony and ended on a bold white dance floor under lights and greenery.
“Our wedding colors were light blue, white, and green. My husband’s favorite color is blue, and I have to say I love it, too,” the bride beamed. “We went very bright and colorful for the rehearsal dinner with blue, white, and coral but kept the wedding more neutral with green, white, and blue.”
The springtime soiree incorporated the bride and groom’s personalities with classic colors, exquisite floral designs, and a custom monogram. The Washington, D.C., bride and groom chose the Tampa Bay area for its sentimental value tied to Morgan’s upbringing and her parents’ home. Since they were planning a destination Clearwater wedding, Morgan and Michael sought the wedding planning expertise of Parties A’ La Carte.
“Parties A ’La Carte was amazing. They found the right vendors for us, and our wedding day was nothing short of perfect!” the bride gushed. “Other people we know used Jessica and loved her just like we did. She and her team are amazing at what they do. I would highly recommend them to anyone who asks. As anyone who has planned a wedding knows, there are so many things you have to think about and a ton of decisions to be made. We wanted someone who could guide us through the wedding planning process and present us with the best options from which to choose. We also wanted someone who we could trust to have our wedding go off without a hitch.”
Parties A’ La Carte incorporated the couple’s signature double-M monogram into almost every detail. Guests first noticed the intricate blue monogram on a crest surrounded by greenery and florals on the Save-the-Date. The design was incorporated into lush greenery behind the champagne wall and prominently displayed on the elegant white dance floor. Personal touches continued throughout the night with embroidered linens that provided a pop of color, complemented by the gold Chiavari chairs. Lush greenery filled with romantic white florals lined the tables among white candles of a variety of sizes to give off a soft glow. All the attention to detail elevated every corner of the ballroom.
“So much of the wedding was a true reflection of Michael and me and how we imagined our wedding. Our planner started branding our event with a hand-painted design used on our Save-the-Date cards, wedding invitations, and other items. The monogram design was carried throughout the activities and events of the weekend,” the bride detailed.
Upon entering the reception at the Carlouel Yacht Club, guests were enchanted by a captivating champagne wall, which also served as a creative seating chart with escort cards delicately attached to champagne flutes. This added a touch of decadence while guiding each of their 175 guests to their designated seats. The reception ballroom was adorned with lush greenery and mesmerizing floral chandeliers suspended from the ceiling, which created an enchanting garden ambiance that set the stage for a truly unforgettable and romantic evening.
The bride wore a strapless A-lined gown that flared out softly at her waist with a delicate belt. The dress was adorned with cascading embroidery that matched the veil and the sheer capped-sleeve dress. Morgan’s bridesmaids were styled in pastel blue dresses that matched the softness of the day, and they even wore the same color polka-dot pajama sets. Prepping the morning of at her parent’s house and the big reception reveal were her favorite parts of the day.
“The most memorable moments were getting ready at my parent’s home with all my bridesmaids and having a first look with my dad. He had not seen me in my wedding dress until that moment,” the bride revealed. “The church ceremony was perfect; there were laughs and tears. It meant so much to have our families and friends there. And then, before we entered the reception, Michael and I had a private walkthrough, and I got to ‘take it all in.’ It was such a beautiful transformation of the space, and it was just what I wanted.”
