With less than six months to plan their modern, elegant, and romantic, St. Pete Beach wedding, Lakewood Ranch couple Lauren and Joe came to Parties A La Carte with limited time to plan their Don CeSar winter wedding.
“We had a relatively short engagement and booked our venue five months prior to the date,” the bride shared. “Because of this, we had to be quicker with wedding making decisions. We hired a wedding planner because we wanted someone else to take care of everything on the day of the wedding, so that we could relax and enjoy with family and friends, but we also wanted someone (who was not family) to turn to and consult when making difficult wedding planning decisions.”
Looking for a wedding planner who could handle all of the details seamlessly on the day-of, but who could also put together a unique event on a short timeline, the couple hired Parties A La Carte.

The designers at Parties A La Carte helped select a neutral color palette with metallic accents and pops of darker colors, like burgundy, red, and black, to bring a wintery feel.
“We love the modern look, but wanted it to still be wintery and cozy at the same time,” the bride explained.
Lauren and Joe wanted their guests to enjoy themselves from start to finish, and Parties A La Carte coordinated special touches throughout the day. Before the ceremony on the courtyard steps of the hotel, guests were treated to a Prosecco bar, and during the recessional a surprise sax player played one of the couple’s favorite songs, while a violinist serenaded the wedding party. The cocktail reception featured signature his and hers cocktails and a surprise confetti bomb at the end of the first dance and again at the end of the night.
