Downtown St. Petersburg Wedding | Alison and James

Weddings

Alison and James’ Downtown St. Petersburg wedding occurred at the Vinoy Renaissance, surrounded by clean lines, taupe linens, vivid white florals, and the most elegant modern gold details. Before the ceremony, Alison and James shared an intimate first-look moment in the Tea Garden. Seeing his future wife dressed in white brought James to tears. This moment was so special for them to share in their excitement before saying, “I Do!”

Downtown St. Petersburg Wedding Ceremony

Following their first look, the Esplanade at the Vinoy transformed into a waterfront dream for the ceremony. White cross-back chairs filled the space, and each chair alongside the aisle included white draping hand-tied with greenery. White cherry trees lined the aisle while hovering over a white carpet leading to an elevated alter overlooking Downtown St. Petersburg. A curved and organic floral arch was placed to outline the couple as they exchanged their vows.

When the ceremony was complete, cocktail hour took place adjacent to the ceremony on the Esplanade. Filling this area was low-top cocktail tables sheltered by umbrellas for shaded seating. A hedge wall with the couples’ duogram was centered and stationed with a professional photographer for guests to take their photos. Afterward at the end of the evening, each guest had a print for them to take home as a keepsake of the celebration!

Downtown St. Petersburg Wedding Reception

Once finished setting up, we presented a Grand Ballroom reveal with Alison, James, and their families. Seeing their reactions to their vision coming to life was our favorite part of the day! At this time, Alison and James got the opportunity to share in a private first dance before their reception began. We love when these little moments can fit into the timeline so couples can soak in their day amid the hustle and bustle.

Organic centerpieces flooded the space in the Grand Ballroom, along with floral hedges and romantic candlelight. Velvet chairs outlined in gold brought more modern and clean lines to each setting. The gold-rimmed chargers complimented the gold-rimmed glassware like a match made in heaven. Patterned napkins topped with vellum menus were also a perfect pair. Overall, the reception was stunning down to each detail. The couple shared their first dance accompanied by cold sparklers making another magical moment on this day. Guests danced the night away, celebrating the new Mr. and Mrs. Bueno, and made memories to last a lifetime!
